A couple weeks ago, my wife and I made a visit to the beautiful Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. We went on a very short 3-day vacation and we were amazed at how great a place it was! We will definitely go back!
While we were there, of course being on an island, I had to carry my fishing gear and do some exploring. Even though we stayed in a very upscale, urban area, I managed to find a very small urban beach among the high rise hotels and did an hour of fishing one morning.

Hey...It really depends on what kind of fishing you want it for...But a good all round combo is a 6ft 6 or 7ft medium action rod and a 3000 sized reel.
